No. 22 'Dogs Get Rained Out At Louisiana Tech

RUSTON, Calif. - The No. 22 Fresno State softball team had its single game rained out today as inclement weather is passing through the area.
The Bulldogs, who played two games last night in anticipation of heavy rain hitting the Ruston area, will look to play the final game of the three-game Western Athletic Conference series versus Louisiana Tech early Sunday morning.
Fresno State (32-14, 10-2 WAC) holds a one-game lead in the WAC standings over second place San Jose State (22-22, 10-4 WAC). The 'Dogs wrap up the regular-conference season at SJSU next week.
Fans have the opportunity to take a booster bus trip to San Jose State for the 12:00 p.m. doubleheader on Sat., May 6. The bus will depart from Fresno State at 7:00 a.m. and stop for brunch in Los Gatos. Afterwards, the bus will stop at Casa de Fruita for dinner before returning to Fresno at approximately 7:30 p.m. Cost is $50 per person (includes bus travel and game ticket).
