FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State proudly announces that tickets for the second annual Run for the Dream are now on sale, just in time for holidays.
The Run for the Dream Meet, held on Jan. 21, 2008, Martin Luther King, Jr., Day honors the memory of Dr. King, will feature three separate events throughout the day. A four-way college meet begins the day at the Save Mart Center, followed by a high school meet of hand-selected students representing their regions in the "California Dream Team Championships." The day's final event brings together professional athletes from the Visa Championship Series to compete in a first-ever team-scored meet, pitting international and American competitors against each other in USA vs. the World.

Although there are three separate meets during the event, two tickets will enable spectators to see all three events. A ticket into the second meet of the day, the "California High School Dream Team Championship," also ensures the ticket-holder a seat at the "USA vs. the World" Meet. Tickets for the second part of the day cost $15 for adults, $8 for Fresno State and high school students and $5 for children.
A ticket into the four-way college meet costs $5 for all ages and is only good for that meet, which runs from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. There will be a three-hour break following the conclusion of the college meet for the athletes to warm up and allow the Save Mart Center to clean up for the afternoon's events.
Tickets are available at the Save Mart Center Box Office and at ticketmaster.com .
