About Last Fall
The Dogs dropped both meets in the fall, losing to perennial national power South Carolina in a tie breaker and dropped a duel match at New Mexico State 11-4. Head coach Becky Malmo was pleased with her team's performance against the Gamecocks, in which they tied USC 10-10, but were edged in the tie breaker scoring.
Malmo Moment
Quotes from head coach Becky Malmo, who is in her third year as Fresno State's head coach: About this week: "I'm excited to return to action. We have a good group of young ladies who have been working very hard and we are anxious to see how we match-up with these schools from Texas. SMU only has a Hunt Seat team, so we will test our depth in that discipline. Both of these programs and relatively new, so I'm looking forward to the competition. We have a couple big home meets coming up with New Mexico State and Texas A&M and are preparing for those as well."
