Basketball Banquet Honors Team; Hosley, McGuire, Perera Named MVP

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno State men's and women's basketball teams held their end of the year banquet Sunday night in the North Gym, sponsored by the Timeout Club. Fans and Timeout Club members joined the players and support staff of both teams for the special night.
The night began with a meet and greet social, followed by dinner and awards. Senior Quinton Hosley and junior Dominic McGuire were named Most Valuable Players for the men's team and Chantella Perera was named MVP of the women's squad.

The Fresno State men's basketball team finished the season with a 22-10 overall record and a 10-6 WAC mark, good enough for third place. The Bulldogs earned a postseason berth into the NIT in head coach Steve Cleveland's second year.
The women's team finished 18-13 overall and 9-7 in conference play, good enough for fourth place. The Bulldogs just missed a third straight postseason berth under head coach Adrian Wiggins.
