FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State's Equestrian season is in full swing and one of the top riders on the team is Katie Nenneker, a sophomore from Oak Park, Calif. Nenneker has been one of the team' top English performers, competing in both Equitation over Fence and Equitation on the Flat.
In just her second year in the program, she has already made a big impact on the team.
"Katie is an outstanding you lady," said coach Becky Malmo. "She works hard and is an outstanding student. She's the epitome of a Bulldog student-athlete. We are very proud of her."
As a high school student, she was heavily involved in many community service programs, including Habitat for Humanity, and was a highly accomplished rider.
Katie spent some time with Gobulldog.com to answer a few questions.
