No. 14 Bulldogs Face No. 20 Pepperdine in Regional Final

FRESNO, Calif. - The 14th-ranked Fresno State women's tennis team will batttle No. 20 Pepperdine today at the Wathen Tennis Center at 1 p.m. The 'Dogs are coming off a 4-0 defeat of Army in the first round, while Pepperdine edged Long Beach State 4-2. Tickets are available at the front gate beginning at noon.
Fresno State enters the match with a record of 21-3, while Pepperdine owns a 20-9 mark. It will be the second time this season these two teams have met. In the first meeting, the Bulldogs beat the Waves 5-2 on the road in Malibu.
The Bulldogs were nearly flawless in their 4-0 shut out of Army. The 'Dogs took the doubles point easily and quickly won three singles matches to complete the victory.
The winner of today's match will advance to the NCAA round of 16 which begins May 17 in Athens, Ga.
