FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State soccer team dropped a 5-1 road game at UC Riverside on Friday. The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 3-3 while UCR improved to 5-2.

"UC Riverside played hard," Fresno State coach Steve Springthorpe said. "We just gave up some untimely goals and created a whole for ourselves that we couldn't dig out of. Now we just have to get ready for LMU on Sunday."

Fresno State trailed 3-0 in the first half before Andrea Salvador scored a goal in the 43rd minute off passes from Ali Sill and Amanda Reyes.

Riverside scored its second half goals in the 50th and 86th minutes. Riverside out shot the Bulldogs 20-12 for the game.
