Bulldogs Play at Utah State on Sunday

Logan, UT - The Fresno State women's basketball team plays game two of its three-game road trip on Sunday afternoon when they play at Utah State. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. and the game can be heard live on 1430 ESPN Radio.
The Bulldogs are 11-1 in WAC and hold a slim lead over Boise State, who is 11-2. Sunday's contest is the 100th game Fresno State coach Adrian Wiggins will roam the sideline as the head coach for the Dogs.
Scouting Utah State
Utah State is 8-16 and riding a two-game winning streak after beating Nevada on Thursday, 56-48. Taylor Richards leads the Aggies in scoring at 10.5 points a game. Danyelle Snelgro is second in scoring at 9.8 points a contest. Utah State is scoring 60.1 points a game and shooting 38 percent from the field.
Bulldogs against Utah State
The Bulldogs lead the overall series 4-1. Fresno State defeated the Aggies 69-52 at the Save Mart Center in the most recent meeting on February 10. Utah State's only win is an 81-75 overtime win in Logan last year.
Strong Play in Conference
The Bulldogs are out scoring opponents 74-58 in conference play. In the first half of WAC games the Bulldogs are scoring 37 points to 26 points by their opponent.
Love at Home
Fresno State is out scoring opponents 74-53 at the Save Mart Center in WAC play. The Dogs have beaten Idaho by 30, Utah State by 17, Nevada by 32, San Jose State by 18, Hawai'i by 20, Boise State by 10 and Louisiana Tech by 23.
Bulldogs Break the Single Season 3-point record
The Bulldogs 10 3-pointers in the win at Louisiana Tech broke the single season record for most 3-pointers in a season. The Dogs have connected on 201 three's and the previous record was 166 set by the 2002-03 team. The Bulldogs are one of only four schools in the country to make 200 3-pointers or more. Fresno State set the single season attempts record for 3-pointers at Hawaii with its 27 attempts. The Dogs have attempted 578 three's and the previous record was 561 by the 2002-03 team.

Since Adrian Wiggins has been head coach at Fresno State, the Bulldogs have recorded 46 wins by 10 points or more. This year 14 of the 16 wins have been by double digits.
Strong Finish
Since Adrian Wiggins has been head coach at Fresno State his teams have finished the season strong. In the month of February the Bulldogs are 19-5 and 23-6 in the last two months of the regular season.

Bailey Amundsen has hit a 3-pointer in 18 straight games while her teammate Jaleesa Ross has nailed a three in 16 straight games. Ross has scored in double figures in 14 straight games.
