FRESNO, Calif. - Terance Frazier loves making investments that will benefit people. Frazier showed that love as Fresno State athletics director Thomas Boeh announced that the former Fresno State baseball player has made a major gift of $100,000 to the Bulldog Foundation in support of the operating budget of Fresno State athletics.
"I invest in people," Frazier said. "This will be one of the best benefits that I invest in and it won't be just a financial benefit."
Frazier said that his decision to give back to the school was because of the impact Boeh and his administration had on him in meetings.
"The fact that you could trust them meant a lot," Frazier said. "You know where your money is going to go. They are not just doing this for money and that meant a lot. If you want to get involved now is the time. If you don't want to I encourage you to try getting involved. This new administration will make sure these student-athletes are taken care of. They are going to take the program to new heights."
On the donation from Frazier, Boeh said, "Given that Terance Frazier is a former student-athlete, member of the Bulldog Foundation Board of Directors and an accomplished entrepreneur, we are indeed honored that he has made this investment into the Department of Athletics. His generosity will immediately benefit countless student-athletes and his leadership will have a long-lasting impact upon Bulldog Athletics."
Frazier played baseball for the Bulldogs in 1988-89 where he was a member of the team that played in the College World Series in 1988. Frazier played professionally for the Oakland A's and the Saint Paul Saints of Minnesota.
After a four-year baseball career, Frazier returned to Fresno to begin his career in real estate and other business adventures. He currently owns Frazier Realty, TFS Investments, LLC and other entities. His companies specialize in all areas of residential and commercial real estate needs and expand from the Central Valley in California to Texas and Georgia.
Frazier has worked in real estate for over 20 years and currently invests in over 100 homes per year. Locally, he has full or partial interest in developments in the Mid State Bowl project, the Clovis/Herndon project, the China Town redevelopment, a Chestnut Low Income Housing project and Fresno's new Granite Park development.
Frazier is married and has five children. He is active in his community and church and has received awards and accommodations from numerous organizations that he has contributed.
