FRESNO, Calif. - Ali Sill headed in the Bulldogs lone goal against Colorado. The Bulldogs fell 4-1 to No. 21 Colorado after 90 minutes of play. Four different players were able to capitilize for the Buffs in their victory over the 'Dogs.
The Bulldogs went down, 1-0, after Colorado forward Gianna DeSaverio scored in the 35th minute of play.
Sill headed in the equalizing goal off a cross from Bradlee DeShane in the 42nd minute of play.
Fresno State entered half time tied at 1-1. Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Revel had four saves in the first half and the Bulldog offense had three shots.
The Buffs scored the go ahead goal was scored in the 52nd minute by Nikki Keller.
No. 21 Colorado added two insurance goals late in the second half. The third goal was scored by Michelle Wenino followed by a header goal by Alex Cousins in the 88th minute.
Revel recorded five saves and sill led the team with four shots. The Bulldogs had a total of 12 shots in the match.
The Bulldogs return home to host Seattle university on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium.
