Baseball and Softball Single-Game Tickets on Sale Feb. 2

FRESNO, Calif. - The time is here to purchase single-game tickets for the 2009 Fresno State baseball and softball seasons. Tickets for both teams will go on sale on Monday, Feb. 2 at 7 a.m. on www.gobulldogs.com and at 9 a.m. by phone through the ticket office by calling (559) 278-DOGS. Fans can also visit the Bulldog Ticket Office at the south end of Bulldog Stadium beginning at 9 a.m.
For baseball and softball, single-game tickets in lower box areas are $15 and upper reserved seating is $8. Discounts are available for senior citizens and youth in the softball general admission areas and the baseball upper reserved areas. Senior tickets are $5 and youth tickets are $3 (ages 5-18).
"The anticipation for our two spring bat and ball sports is at an all time high," said Paul Ladwig, the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Broadcasting. "Coach Wright and coach Batesole have their teams prepared for another run at a conference championship and post-season play. Season ticket sales have been very good and opening night single-game tickets will go quickly. Don't wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets!"
Mini plans are available for both sports. Both sports offer the Opening Night Plan and WAC Pack.
The baseball Opening Night Plan is a four-game package, including the opening night game vs. Washington on Feb. 20 and any three other home games. This package is only $22 for adults and provides discounts for youth.
"We are very excited to open the season at home this year," said head baseball coach Mike Batesole. "It should be an exciting weekend altogether and we hope to see everyone out at Beiden Field on Feb. 20 for the opener vs. Washington."
The baseball WAC Pack includes 10 home dates, beginning with the game against New Mexico State on Thursday, April 9. The package also includes the Nevada and Hawai'i series. This package is only $55 for adults and youth discounts are available.
The softball Opening Night Plan is a four-game package, including the opening night game versus Utah Valley University on Feb. 26 and any three other home games. This package is only $22 for adults and provides discounts for youth.
The softball WAC Pack includes six home dates, beginning with the game against San Jose State on Friday, March 20. The package also includes the Nevada and Hawai'i series. This package is only $33 for adults and provides discounts for youth.
"I'm very excited that we are getting out so far in advance for our single game ticket sales," said head softball coach Margie Wright. "I really hope our fans will come out and support us this year after our 54-13 season last year. I think it will be a really fun team to watch. Everyone come out and get your tickets!"
Also, available are all-tournament tickets for both the Pepsi/Johnny Quik Classic (March 9-14) and the Bayer CropScience Classic (March 5-8). All tournament tickets range from $40 to $15 for adults. Discounts are available for both seniors and youth.
