FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State head baseball coach Mike Batesole announced the 2010 Winter High School Showcase Camp. The camp will be held on Jan. 2 and 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is available to players in 9th-12th grade.
"The Fresno State Baseball Showcase Camp is a great opportunity for high school players of all grade levels and abilities to get exposed to the way we coach and develop players at Fresno State," said Batesole. "We teach all of the skills that we teach our players day in and day out in practice. Camp participants get the opportunity to work hands on with the Bulldog Baseball Coaches, play at Beiden Field, and perform in front of the staff of the 2008 National Champions."
At the two-day camp players will be evaluated in skill instruction and game performance by the Bulldog coaching staff. The camp is completely run by the Fresno State coaching staff.
The Winter Showcase is $275 for position players and $200 for pitchers only. The camp includes lunch, a camp T-shirt and a camp hat.
