Bulldog Divers in Action

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State's four divers will face the Sunbirds of Fresno Pacific on Saturday at Noon at Sunnyside High School in Clovis, Calif. in a Valentine's Day meet.
Fans are invited to attend the meet and support the Bulldogs.
An NAIA team, Fresno Pacific will battle the `Dogs for its first "dive only" meet of the season.
The Sunbirds are 2-3 following a split win-loss to Biola and Concordia University on Jan. 17 and boasted strong finishes on the 1-meter board.
Fresno State is 0-8 following an impressive performance against rival San Jose State, when junior diver Kendra Weeks earned best marks on the 1-meter and 3-meter and a second place finish on the 1-meter.
"We're excited that we're able to get another meet in before conference," said head diving coach Taryn Ignacio. "The girls are diving really well and I think this meet will give them the confidence they need for WAC Championships."
The `Dogs will travel to San Antonio, Texas, Feb. 25-28, for the 2009 WAC Championships.

"Join the State - Fresno State" -The Fresno State diving team will face-off against Fresno Pacific for a Valentine's Day dive meet at Sunnyside High School at Noon on Feb. 14. The Bulldog swimmers and divers will compete in the WAC Championships Feb. 25-28 in San Antonio, Texas.
