`Dogs to Close Regular Season at San Jose State
Fresno State will travel to San Jose, Calif. to compete against the Spartans of San Jose State on Saturday at noon for the third and final time before the WAC Championships in late February.The Bulldogs recently met with San Jose in early January in a double dual meet at UC Davis and opened its season in October against the Spartans and UC Santa Cruz. San Jose State will host the `Dogs at home for the first time this season this weekend.
Scouting the Competition
San Jose State is 15-1 overall and 7-0 WAC entering Saturday's meet, while Fresno State is 0-7 after a solid performance at the Beach Cup Invitational in San Diego last weekend. The Spartans topped Nevada on Jan. 31 and earned their 15th consecutive dual meet victory, while the Bulldogs captured multiple top three finishes and invidual event wins against the Toreros and Loyola Marymount.
"Join the State - Fresno State" -The Fresno State swimming and diving team will face WAC foe San Jose State Saturday, Feb. 7, at noon for the third and final meeting with the Spartans before the WAC Championships.
