Dear Red Wave:
I wanted to take this time to thank you for your support on Friday night in helping us earn our 19th win of the season and stay atop first place in the WAC. We had our largest crowd of the season and it really got our players excited to run onto the floor of the Save Mart Center to a loud and vocal crowd.
The energy you provided us was great. As we fight for our second-straight WAC championship we need your support for our final two home games as we host second place Louisiana Tech on Monday and New Mexico State on Wednesday. Both games begin at 7 p.m.
The New Mexico State game is Senior Night and it will be a time to honor Bailey Amundsen, LaToya Brown and LaShaunte Stephens. These three players have represented our program with class and dignity on the basketball floor and in the classroom.
We lead the WAC in attendance for the second straight year and that support doesn't go unnoticed. As a team we talk about how great our fans are and how proud we are to represent Fresno State.
Thanks again for all your support and we look forward to seeing you this week for our final two home contests.
