Bulldogs Battle Ducks

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's lacrosse team lost 20-0 to Oregon on Friday evening in Eugene, Ore. The Bulldogs are 0-5 and 0-4 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation action while Oregon improved to 3-2 and 2-1 in conference play.
Despite the loss, Bulldogs coach Sue Behme was pleased with the effort her team gave for the entire 60 minutes.
"We fought so hard," Behme said. "It was unbelievable how hard we played. I couldn't be more proud. The kids are coming together and they are motivated. They do not quit. We had a bunch of fans here and they were a class act."
The Bulldogs trailed 11-0 at halftime and took two shots. Aja Scheuber and Michelle Rose attempted the shots. Kohl Berry came off the bench to record seven saves as the goalkeeper.
"Kohl did a great job," Behme said. "She is getting experience and doing great."
Behme said she was pleased with how her team did in not fouling as the Bulldogs had 15 fouls to Oregon's 24.
