Perkins Named Second Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District

FRESNO, Calif. - Over the course of Haley Perkins career at Fresno State she has excelled in the classroom and on the field. On Thursday, she earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District honors for the third time in her career as she earned second-team accolades. Perkins currently boasts a 3.59 GPA and she is majoring in Kinesiology.
In Perkins career she garnered NFCA Scholar-Athlete and the Mr. Bulldog Scholarship award in 2008. She is also a two-time WAC Scholar Athlete, a three-time Academic All-WAC honoree and a three-time Fresno State Scholar Athlete and she has been on the Dean's List four times.
Perkins and the rest of the Bulldogs are hosting the 2009 WAC tournament. The Bulldogs play Boise State at 10 a.m. You can listen to the game live on ESPN 790 the Deuce with Paul Swearengin calling the action or follow the statistics on Gametracker.
