The Fresno State divers opened up their first day at the Wildcat Diving Invite in Tucson, Ariz. The Dogs are surrounded by some strong competition as Arizona, USC, Nevada, Stanford, BYU and many others as in attendance.
The divers competed off the 3-meter board in day one of competition.
"We had a long day of competition and the girls stuck with it," said diving coach Taryn Patrick. "When they missed dives they came back strong for the next one."
Senior Kendra Weeks (Folsom, Calif.) earned a score of 217.05 and placed 31st, right in the middle of the competition.
