Kaitlyn Revel Named GoBulldogs.com Athlete of the Week

Kaitlyn Revel, a senior goalkeeper from San Mateo, Calif., was named GoBulldogs.com Toyota Athlete of the Week and to the CS360 Primetime Performers of the Week by CollegeSoccer.com. Before the WAC tournament this past weekend in Ruston, La., Revel was named first-team All-WAC for the third time in her career. Revel lived up to her title by not allowing a goal in the three matches Fresno State played, which extended her steak to four consecutive shutouts. Revel has not allowed a goal in a total of nine games this year, and her 32 career shutouts is a Fresno State record. Revel has not allowed a goal in the last 380 minutes of game play. On top of her stellar play in front of the net, Revel scored the first penalty kick against San Jose State on Sunday to help the Bulldogs earn their second career WAC Tournament title.
