Pitcher Michelle Moses put the `Dogs on the board quickly in the first inning with a two-run home run to left center field off of Spartan starting pitcher Amanda Pridmore.

Moses got the win for the `Dogs in the circle to improve to 7-0. She allowed just two hits, one unearned run with four walks and six strikeouts.
Pridmore got the loss for the Spartans to drop to 14-4. She allowed two earned runs on seven hits and had four strikeouts.
Andrea Ortega and Moses led the team with two hits each. Haley Gilleland, Courtney Moore and Lisamarie Coronado also had hits for Fresno State.
"I thought we did a really good job at holding them," said head coach Margie Wright. "We scored early and we had a lot of hits but we couldn't put them together. I give our pitching and defense a lot of credit."
