Moore Signs With Bulldogs

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball coach Adrian Wiggins has announced the signing of KiKi Moore to an athletic aid agreement. Moore, a 5-8 guard, played her freshman season at Washington State in 2009-10 and prepped at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco.
"KiKi Moore is a tremendous penetrating guard who will be an impact player on our team," Fresno State coach Adrian Wiggins said. "She has proven herself in the Pac 10 as a scorer and a great defender."
Moore made an immediate impact at Washington State as a freshman as she was second on the team in scoring at 12 points a game. She grabbed 4.5 rebounds a game and was third in the Pac 10 in assists at 3.6 a game and led the conference in steals at 3.3 a contest. Moore played and started in all 30 games and averaged 28.9 minutes a game.
She was named to the Pac-10 Media All-Defensive team along with the conference all-freshmen team.
At Sacred Heart, Moore was a four-year letter winner where her team won three California state championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior and a USA Today National Championship as a junior with perfect 33-0 record.
As a senior she was a finalist for Ms. California Basketball as she averaged 16.5 points, 10 rebounds, 7.5 steals and six assists a game. She earned first-team all-state honors in her final year of high school as well as being named first-team All-NorCal, first-team All-Metro and WCAL and she garnered first-team honors by the San Francisco Chronicle. After her senior year she was named to the ESPN-HoopGurlz Top 100.
Moore will sit out the 2010-11 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
