Moore Earns WAC Honors

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State sophomore guard Ki-Ki Moore was named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 21-27. This is the first WAC Player of the Week honor of her career for Moore. It is also the first time this season a women's basketball player has won the award.
The San Francisco, Calif., native averaged 24.0 points on 68 percent shooting (17-of-25), including an 80 percent clip (4-of-5) from three-point range, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game as the Bulldogs captured the SMU Hoops for the Cure tournament title last week.
Moore was named tournament MVP after the `Dogs went 2-0 with wins over Tennessee State and the host Mustangs. She opened the week with team highs of 20 points and eight rebounds against the Golden Eagles. Against SMU, Moore tied her career high with 28 points and added five assists, three steals and three boards.
Other nominees included: Breanna Arbuckle of Hawai`I, daho's Alyssa Charlston, Kate Kevorken of Nevada, Tabytha, Brittany Johnson of San Jose State and Utah State's Brooke Jackson.
