Moore Earns Second Weekly Honor

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State sophomore guard Ki-Ki Moore has been named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 5-11. This is the second WAC Player of the Week honor of the season and her career for Moore.
The San Francisco native averaged 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game as the Bulldogs went 2-0 on the week. Moore opened the week with her second career double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds to go along with six steals in a win over No. 23 Oklahoma, Fresno State's first victory over a ranked opponent since 2008.
She then scored 16 points on 64 percent shooting, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, in a win at Cal State Northridge. For the week, she shot 50 percent from the field and 43 percent from three-point range.
Other nominees included: Alyssa Charlston of Idaho, Louisiana Tech's Jasmine Bendolph, Tabytha Wampler of New Mexico State and Utah State's Ashlee Brown.
