FRESNO, Calif. - Although the Fresno State women's basketball team spent another week at home, Crazy Monkey still had a fun adventure in Fresno with sophomore Bree Farley. Farley, who is one of three student-athletes from Australia, had family visiting and her parents got to spend the week with Crazy Monkey too.

Day Off. CM was excited today to meet and hang out with my parents. At lunch time, CM was lucky enough to accompany my parents, as I took them on a detailed tour of our lovely campus. He was impressed with the new swimming pool and liked the look of the library. He also loved the special access to our locker room in the North Gym to see where our team hangs out before practice. CM was feeling a little tired so decided to stay home, while my parents took Rosie Moult and I to PF Changs for a lovely and entertaining meal.
Tuesday, December 6
Today was very relaxing for CM as he was able to sleep in before coming with my parents to watch practice. He went back home while I had to go to class, but was nice enough to help me study for my math exam. At dinner time, CM loved the chicken schnitzel with vegetables that my mom made and had ice cream for dessert.
Wednesday, December 7
Today CM was super excited because he was going to have his first appearance on TV. He rode with me to class then off to the Save Mart Center to be interviewed on live television. He was a little shy in front of the camera, but at least he looked pretty. He then watched on as we trained. In the afternoon, CM was my lucky charm as he helped me in my final math exam. We rode home and washed up for dinner, which was one of CM's favorites, home made lasagna! It was delicious.
Thursday, December 8
Today actually started with a little sleep in, which CM needed as he had so far had a big week. After some yummy vegemite on toast, CM accompanied Rosie, my parents and myself to the mall to finish off our Christmas shopping. CM had to wait for us in the car, but didn't mind because it was nice and warm.
After much searching, we finally found where we parked the car and made our way back to our apartment. CM then joined us for our shoot around at 2pm then ate pre game meal before heading back to our apartment to get ready for the big game. Once we arrived back at SMC, CM was lucky enough to be looked after by aunty Rachel for the entire game. He cheered us on to victory as we played a great team game and won against ranked Oklahoma. After all the excitement CM was pretty tired and was ready for bed.
Friday, December 9
CM waited for me at home today as I went to the doctors to have my nose x-rayed. The results showed a small break, but I felt much better after receiving a hug from CM. Later in the afternoon CM had coffee, biscuits and cookies as Alex Sheedy's family visited the Moult/ Farley apartment. They came over for a final catch up before they departed on the long journey back to Australia.
Saturday, December 10
Today was a big day for CM. He watched over practice in the morning, making sure the girls were not slacking off, and then he jumped on the bus and traveled with us to Northridge. CM definitely planned to do homework the entire way but instead had a nice long nap. Once we arrived and unloaded our bags, CM came to another light practice where he enjoyed going over our plays. We then all had dinner where CM ordered a chicken and pasta dish to get energized ready for tomorrow's game.
Sunday, December 11
CM was a little sleepy, but managed to wake up at 6:45 this morning to join the team for our early shoot around. CM was very excited with the buffet breakfast we had for our pre game meal. On the way to the game, CM entertained the back of the bus with his amazing dance moves. He is also not a bad singer, but not as good as Blakely.
Come game time, CM was cheering loud in the stands with all of our wonderful supporters who made the trip from Fresno. He again helped us to victory as the girls pulled together with a great second half to come up with the win. After a fun week it was sadly time for CM to stay with another team mate. Before the bus trip back to Fresno, CM was passed on to Aunty Robin who is thrilled to have him for finals week.
