FRESNO, Calif. - The 67th-ranked Fresno State women's tennis team looks to advance its wins at home as the Dogs welcome a pair of nonconference foes to the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center on Thursday.
The Dogs are currently 4-7 this season, winning their previous match against WAC opponent Louisiana Tech, 7-0. Fresno State traveled to Los Angeles last week and competed against two top-ranked programs, then No. 10 UCLA and No. 16 USC. The Dogs dropped both matches, 6-1.
Fresno State is home to No. 99 nationally ranked singles player Marianne Jodoin. This is the second time this season Jodoin has been at that ranking.
Bulldogs Bite Hornets

The Hornets boast the No. 124 ranked Tatsiana Kapshai and the No. 68 doubles team Rebeca Delgado and Tatsiana Kapshai.
The Bulldogs have a 8-3 all time record against Sacramento State, including a 7-0 sweep in 2009.
Bulldogs Look to Advance Record to 18
The Tigers compete at Fresno State with a 3-5 record for the season.
Fresno State holds a 17-9 all-time advantage against University of the Pacific including a shy, 4-3 victory in 2010.
Fresno State 2-0 in the WAC
At the time, No. 59 Fresno State women's tennis team was victorious over WAC opponent Louisiana Tech, 7-0 on Saturday at the Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex. The Dogs swept the Lady Techsters and did not drop a set the entire day.
