Softball to Host Meet the Team Luncheon

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State softball fans will have their first introduction to the 2012 squad on Sunday, Jan. 29, as the Diamond Club of the Bulldog Foundation is hosting the 24th annual Meet the Team Luncheon and Silent Auction.
"I think this one is going to be a really good one because we have nine newcomers to the team and for our fans, that's a pretty big turnover," head coach Margie Wright said. "A lot of these nine newcomers are going to be playing, so I think it will be really good for our fans to get a chance to come out and meet them."
The event costs $25 per person and is being held at Tornino's on 5080 N. Blackston Avenue in Fresno. The silent auction and social hour runs from 12-1 p.m. Lunch begins at 1 p.m. and the program shortly thereafter.
The meals offered are your choice of lemon pepper chicken or marinated tri-tip steak.
