UNLV won the toss, elected to defer. Fresno State will receive and defend the south goal.
1st Quarter
On the first play from scrimmage, Derek Carr hit Davante Adams on a 75-yard touchdown pass. It was the longest play from scrimmage this year from the Bulldogs.
Charles Washington recorded his second sack of the season at 11:17, a six-yard loss. The play was followed up by a sack by Ejiro Ederaine.
Derek Carr hit Davante Adams on a second touchdown connection at 4:42, this one from 28 yards out. That was Carr's 84th career touchdown pass, which ties the school record for most in a career.
Davante Adams had 103 yards receiving and two touchdowns on his first two receptions of the game. This is the 10th 100-yard receiving game of his career.
Fresno State outgained UNLV 215-27 in the first quarter.
2nd Quarter
Josh Quezada scored on a two-yard touchdown run on third down at 12:44, giving Fresno State a 21-0 lead. It was his third rushing TD of the season.
Derek Carr hit Davante Adams with a 36-yard touchdown pass at 10:20 for their third TD hookup of the game. It gave Carr 85 career touchdowns, which broke the school record that was previously held by Paul Pinegar (2002-05).
Davante Adams has now caught three touchdown passes in back-to-back games. That is the first time in school history a Bulldog wide receiver has done so. Adams also becomes the first player in school history to have two games in a career with three touchdown receptions.
Marteze Waller's 39-yard run at 6:31was the longest rush of the season by a Bulldog and the longest of his career.
3rd Quarter
Derek Carr went over 300-yards passing on a six-yard completion to Marteze Waller on the Bulldogs' fourth play of the third quarter. It is his fourth-straight 300-yard passing game, which ties the Mountain West record. It was also his 15th career 300-yard passing game.
Derek Carr and Davante Adams hooked up for their fourth TD passing play at 9:57. Adams tied the school and Mountain West record for touchdown catches in game.
Derek Carr's 9-yard pass to Josh Harper at 5:39 pushed him over 10,000 yards passing in his career. He becomes only the third Bulldog ever to do so.
4th Quarter
Derron Smith recorded a sack for the second-straight game, doing so at 10:17 mark of the fourth quarter. His play forced a third-and-10 at the UNLV 49-yard line.
With an eight-yard reception inside the nine-minute mark, Davante Adams went over 200 yards receiving for the first time in his career. It was the 12th time in school history a Bulldog receiver went over 200 yards receiving.
Carr's 29-yard completion to Davante Adams at 6:44 was his 33rd of the game and 849th of his career, setting a new school record for most completions in a career.
