FRESNO, Calif.--After finishing second in the Willis Invitational last weekend, the Fresno State equestrian team moves into the National Collegiate Equestrian Association rankings at number nine.
"We are excited to be recognized for the wins this weekend," interim head coach Eric Hubbard said. "We are working hard to continue through the season with even more success."
The `Dogs defeated then-No. 10 Southern Methodist University, 7-6, which helped to knock the Mustangs out of the rankings. They also defeated UTM, but fell short to No. 6 Baylor.
Fresno State takes on No. 5 University of South Carolina next at home on Nov. 7.
"Be Bold!" - The official home of the Fresno State Bulldogs is 940 AM ESPN Radio.
