Fresno State failed to score on its opening drive and through seven games this year has not scored any points on its first drive of a game.
Marteze Waller dashed off a 41-yard run on the first play of Fresno State's second drive. It was his third run of 40 or more yards this season. His career long entering this season was 39 yards.
Charles Washington intercepted his first pass of the season at 3:16. It was his second career interception.
Fresno State had just one first down and 59 total yards of offense in the first quarter. Without Waller's 41-yard run, the Bulldogs had just 13 yards on their other nine plays in the opening 15 minutes.
2nd Quarter
Kyrie Wilson recorded his first sack of the season at 5:30 on a third-and-6 on the Fresno State 47-yard line.
This was the first time since Nov. 19, 2010 that the Bulldogs did not score in the first half.
3rd Quarter
Chad Olsen caught a 29-yard touchdown pass at 13:45, the second of his career. The 29-yard TD catch is the longest by a tight end since Bear Pascoe had a 75-yard touchdown catch against Hawai`i on Oct. 14, 2006.
Fresno State went 75 yards on its first drive of the second half, which was more than its entire total offense total from the first half (59 yards on 10 plays) and just shy of its second-half total (81 yards on 23 plays).
Josh Harper caught a 27-yard touchdown catch at 0:56, which was the 25th of his career. That tied him for the second-most TD catches in school history.
Harper went over 100 yards receiving on that touchdown catch. This is his first 100-yard game this year and seventh of his career, which is tied for the eighth most 100-yard games in school history.
4th Quarter
Josh Harper's 58-yard catch around the 14-minute mark was the longest of the season for him and quarterback Brian Burrell's longest completion.
Chad Olsen caught his second touchdown pass of the game at 13:47.
Tyeler Davison recorded his 10th tackle of the game at 11:48. This is his first career double-digit tackle game.
At 10:24, Josh Harper caught an eight-yard pass for a first down at the UNLV 29-yard line. It was Harper's 10th catch of the game, giving him four career games with 10 or more catches.
Marteze Waller reeled off a 41-yard run at 8:24 to push him over 100-yards in the game. This is his third 100-yard game this season (third in last four games) and fourth of his career.
Waller scored a 13-yard touchdown at 7:21 that came on a fourth-and-inches play. It was Waller's first touchdown of the game.
