FRESNO, Calif. - Three Bulldog football seniors have received early invitations to post-season all-star games, Fresno State announced on Friday the day before senior day.
Bulldog wide receiver Josh Harper and safety Derron Smith both received invites to participate in the 2015 Reese's Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Game while cornerback Curtis Riley was invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game.
The 2015 Senior Bowl will be played on Jan. 24 from Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. while the East-West Shrine Game is held the week before, on Jan. 17 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
For Harper and Smith, they will decide on which post-season games to play in after the season comes to an end.
Harper is the nation's active leader in touchdown catches per games played in, having caught 29 career touchdown passes in 38 games. He ranks second in school history in touchdown catches, fourth in receptions (206) and seventh in receiving yardage (2,699). Harper was a second-team All-Mountain West selection in 2013.
