Noble, Watts Advance to B Flight Semifinals

MORAGA, Calif. - Senior Anneka Watts and freshman Olivia Noble advanced to the semifinals of the singles B Flight of the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational on Saturday after each picked up a pair of victories.
Watts, the six seed, advanced to the semifinals with straight-set wins overs Dominique Garley of Gonzaga and Sofia Wicker of Sacramento State. She will face the No. 1 seed Radina Dimitrova (Portland) tomorrow at 9:30 a.m., PT.
Noble, the No. 7 seed, will also begin her semifinal match at 9:30 a.m., as she faces Nabila Farah (Santa Clara). The freshman advanced with wins over Cal Poly's Zoe Oedekerk and Lani Rae Green of UC Davis.
Watts and Noble also teamed up in the doubles A consolation flight, earning an 8-6 win over the team of Apollo/Bourguignon from Gonzaga.
In the singles A consolation, Emma Wilson went 1-1 on the day, earning a three-set win over Alexandra Bourguignon (Gonzaga) before falling to Santa Clara's Madison Clark.
