FRESNO, Calif. - Season ending notes and offseason dates are the subject of this section of the Fresno State football notebook.
• Three Bulldogs were named to the 2015 All-Mountain West teams that were announced last Tuesday - OLB Ejiro Ederaine and LT Alex Fifita to the second-team and DE Claudell Louis was an honorable mention pick. Although Fresno State did not have a first-team honoree, the first time no Bulldog has been named first-team all-conference since 1952, Fresno State still ranks No. 2 in the Mountain West in first-team selections since the Bulldogs joined the league 2012.

• Fresno State is scheduled to open up spring football on March 1. The Bulldogs will hold three practices for each of the first three weeks of the month, skip a week for Spring Break, then resume for the final two weeks of spring ball. The Spring Game is tentatively scheduled for April 9. More information on spring football will be released as we get closer to its start.
• Redshirt freshman Jamire Jordan had a big season for the Bulldogs. He led all Mountain West freshmen in receptions (46), receiving yards (540), touchdown receptions (5), all-purpose yards (910) and he tied for the league lead among freshmen in total touchdowns scored (6). Jordan's five TD catches tied for the seventh most among all Football Bowl Subdivision freshmen.
Since the NCAA reinstated freshmen eligibility in 1972, there have only been four Bulldog freshmen that have led the team in catches and/or receiving yards.

• Speaking of freshmen receivers, Fresno State had a total of 92 receptions this season that came from a freshman. That ranked as the fourth-highest total number of receptions by freshmen on any one team in the FBS.

• Fresno State this season had 30 members on its roster play in their first career game in a Bulldog uniform and had 21 that made their first career start. That number tied for the sixth-most first-time starters among any FBS program this year.
