Fresno State to Play in 2016 ITA Kick-Off Weekend

FRESNO, Calif. -- After finishing the season ranked No. 58 by the ITA, the Fresno State women's tennis team was selected to compete in the 2016 ITA Kick-Off Weekend. The Bulldogs will play in the UCLA bracket in Los Angeles, Calif.
 
The `Dogs are the No. 3 seed in the four-team bracket and will face No. 2 seeded Arkansas in their first match. The Razorbacks finished No. 38 in the country after falling in the first round of the NCAA Women's Team Championship. Depending on the outcome, Fresno State will face either the No. 1 seed UCLA or No. 4 UC Irvine the following day. The Bruins finished No. 3 after reaching the semifinals of the NCAA tournament, while the Anteaters ended the year ranked No. 70.
 
The 15 schools that win both of their matches at these events will be invited to play in the 2016 ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championship hosted by the University of Wisconsin from Feb. 5-8.
