Fresno State, AECOM to transform Bulldog Stadium

Fresno State Athletics names AECOM as the architectural firm for the Bulldog Stadium modernization project
FRESNO, Calif. – The vision that Fresno State Director of Athletics Jim Bartko revealed for a new Bulldog Stadium in the summer of 2015 took a big step toward reality as AECOM was selected as the project architect.

The first phase of design (schematics) will occur over the next 90-120 days, thanks to private support from an anonymous donor. The schematic plans will be presented to the California State University Board of Trustees for approval in the spring of 2017. The scope of work includes utility infrastructure and ADA upgrades, new concession and restroom facilities, new premium seating and club lounge areas, and improved spectator access to seating. The result will be a state-of-the-art facility that the Valley will be proud to call, 'home of the Bulldogs.'

AECOM's work spans from master planning the London and Rio Olympics, to designing the first-ever LEED Platinum arena for the Sacramento Kings, to campus planning, stadium renovation and enhancement for dozens of collegiate programs across the country.
