Fresno State women’s soccer secured its second-straight road shutout; junior forward Myra Delgadillo scored her ninth goal of the season
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Fresno State women's soccer team returns home after back-to-back road shutouts this weekend, blanking Air Force 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Cadet Soccer Stadium.

Fresno State junior forward Myra Delgadillo scored her ninth goal of the season in the 50th minute after receiving a long midfield pass from redshirt junior defender Angie Weiner, cutting through three Falcon defenders, and scoring inside the left post.

Bulldog sophomore goalkeeper Marie Berwinkel-Kottmann started her sixth conference game for the 'Dogs this year, earning her third shutout of the season and recording a career-high 10 saves. She now leads Fresno State this year with 32 saves and a 1.21 goals-against average.

The Falcons were aggressive on the offensive side of the ball throughout the game, owning a 20-7 shot advantage, the most shots by a Fresno State opponent in a Bulldog win since Oct. 6, 2012 (Wyoming, 21 shots). This was the second-straight game that the 'Dogs recorded seven shots in a 1-0 victory.

Junior forward Peyton Cline led the Bulldogs with three shots and two shots on goal; Delgadillo added two shots, while junior Anna Crawford and freshman Kasidee Wiley added one each.

Fresno State returns home on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT for Senior Night against San Jose State for its final regular season game of the year. The Bulldogs sit in seventh place in the Mountain West, and with the top six teams advancing to the MW Championship, have been mathematically eliminated from contention.
