Brown, Wendt named UEC October Riders of the Month

Taylor Brown and Natalie Wendt were also named NCEA October Riders of the Month
WACO, Texas – Senior Taylor Brown and freshman Natalie Wendt have been named United Equestrian Conference (UEC) October Riders of the Month. Brown earned her honors in both Reining and Horsemanship for the second month in a row after posting a 5-1 record in October. Wendt was honored for her performances in Equitation on the Flat after an undefeated (3-0) month in the event.

SMU's Sylvia de Toledo was recognized as Equitation Over Fences UEC October Rider of the Month.

Brown and Wendt were also honored as National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) October Riders of the Month during the first week of November. Brown is currently 12-2 overall with 10 Most Outstanding Player accolades, while Wendt is 7-5 with three MOPs.

Equitation On The Flat: Natalie Wendt, Fresno State
·      Posted a perfect 3-0 record in Equitation On The Flat during the month of October.
·      Averaged a score of 70.67 in three meets during the month of October.
·      Earned a pair of MVP honors, during meets against then-No. 1 Auburn and Delaware State.

·      Recorded a 3-0 record in Horsemanship during the month of October.
