We have a lot to be thankful for, and your support of our program means so much to us.
Red Wave,
Â
During this time of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your family and friends a joyous Thanksgiving and holiday season. We have a lot to be thankful for, and your support of our program means so much to us.
Â
This fall, we selected AECOM as the architect of choice for our Bulldog Stadium renovation project. The work has begun with our campus partners to move the project forward. We have received some tremendous financial support so far, but the work is far from over.
Â
Our goals include having bulldozers in place and construction will begin shortly after the conclusion of our next football season. The insight of our new head football coach Jeff Tedford will be very valuable as we make Bulldog Stadium a better place for our fans. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to Jeff and myself welcoming the Tedford family back home to the valley. The outpouring of hospitality has been overwhelming.
Â
The month of November is also an exciting time for us as many high school seniors make the decision to be Bulldogs. Recently, Troy Steiner and Natalie Benson welcomed their first official recruiting classes for wrestling and water polo, and we are so pleased with how these programs are taking shape. And a special congratulations to all of our Bulldog signees on joining our family!
Â
As we wrap up this year and plan for the future I want to share a quote from senior Zach Kline, from the end of last week's football game, as I feel this gives us a wonderful look into the future:

Thank you for all that you do for our Bulldogs! Go 'Dogs!"I have faith in this program. Our coaches now have pushed us harder this year than any other coach across the country that would've thrown in the towel. They believed in us, they fought for us and they're going to keep doing that. That is something that Coach Tedford is all about. I know that the program will be in good hands with him and the players we have on this team."
