Holden wraps up NCAA Zone Diving Championships

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Fresno State junior Shelbie Holden competed in the 2016 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships at the Northern Arizona University Aquatic and Tennis Complex in Flagstaff, Ariz., Monday through Wednesday.
Holden finished 55th on the 1-meter springboard, 46th on the 3-meter springboard and 24th on the Platform.
Nevada divers took the top spots in all three events, as Krysta Palmer scored the highest in the 1-meter and Platform, while Sharae Zheng placed first in the 3-meter.
A total of 99 divers - men's and women's - represented 25 universities, including Air Force, Arizona, Arizona State, CSU Bakersfield, Boise State, BYU, California, Cal Poly, Fresno State, Hawai'I, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, San Diego State, San Jose State, Stanford, UC Davis, UCLA, UNLV, USC, Utah and Wyoming.
