`Dogs get 2 national TV games; Tickets announced

FRESNO, Calif. - The Mountain West released Monday a package of Friday football telecasts for the 2016 season that gave Fresno State two games on national television.
Fresno State's mid-October contest against San Diego State will be televised on CBS Sports Network and played on Friday, Oct. 14 with a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Bulldogs next home game in October against Air Force was selected for an ESPN2 audience on Friday, Oct. 28 with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
The league's initial announcement of 10 games, which also includes one Thursday night broadcast, is set to be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network, ESPN and ESPN2.
Between the two broadcast partners, at least 44 football games will be televised in 2016 on their various national platforms. Additional broadcasts by CBS Sports Network, ESPN networks, ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will be announced in the near future.
Season tickets for the 2016 are currently on sale and offer the best value on tickets for the Red Wave at a savings of 32 percent.
The minimum donation per seat for new season ticket purchases in west side red seats has been lowered as follows: Sections 9 & 13 ($150) Sections 10 & 12 ($250)
Faculty and Staff
Fresno State faculty and staff can purchase football season tickets for $132, offering a savings of over 20 percent on regularly-priced season tickets.
Mini Plans
Fresno State also announced Monday the following mini plans that offer more flexibility on tickets fans may want to purchase. Mini plans offer cheaper packages than single-game purchases, but season tickets remain the best value.
• 4-Game Plan - includes the home opener plus any other three home games of your choosing. Plan is available in the public seating sections of Bulldogs Stadium (except sections 6 & 16) at the package cost of $128 ($32 per game).
• 4-Game Family Flex Plan - offers tickets to any four games of your choosing. Must purchase four total, at least one being an adult ticket, and no more than 24 total tickets. Cost of plan is $112 for adults ($28 per game), $60 for youth ($15 per game).
