2016 Fresno State Baseball Summer Camps Registration
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Baseball program has opened registration for its 2016 Summer Baseball Camps.
Baseball players ages six, up to junior college aged students have the opportunity to learn from select Fresno State coaches and players in part of three summer camps hosted at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium, home of the 2016 Mountain West champion Diamond 'Dogs.
The first camp, the Bulldog Hitting Academy, will be held on Monday night's - June 13, 20. 27 - capped at 20 participants per session (of two available sessions lasting an hour and a half each). Session one is reserved for ages 7-12, and begins at 5 p.m., while the second session starts at 7 p.m. for ages 13 and above. Registration is $180 per camper, with Early bird registration by June 1 for $160 per camper.
The Junior Bulldog Camp will be held over two separate weeks with week one held July 25-28 and week two August 1-4. The Junior Bulldog Camp is specifically designed for kids between the ages of 6 and 12. Campers will experience hands-on instruction from Bulldog coaches and players, and learn drills and techniques in all areas of the game in a fun, competitive atmosphere. Instruction will be provided by the Bulldog coaching staff and players and each day will end with a game.
The Junior Bulldog Camp is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lunch provided each day. Camp cost is $200 with Early bird discounts applied if registered before July 1 for $180. Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment (glove, bat, helmet, cleats and hat) and catchers must bring their own gear.
The Bulldog Summer Prospect Camp will begin on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 5 p.m., and run until 9 p.m., then resume on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 9:30 a.m. and dismiss at 5 p.m.
The Prospect Camp, designed specifically for high school players and aspiring Divison I athletes, will allow campers to showcase their skill sets in game situations for the Bulldog coaching staff. The first day will focus on offensive and defensive evaluations, while day two will include more comprehensive game situations for players to showcase their abilities.
Early bird registration for the Prospect Camp is $250 if registered by July, while the regular rate is $300 per camper.
All camps will be located at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium on the campus of Fresno State.
