'Dogs set to compete at ITA Northwest Regionals

Doubles draw to begin Thursday morning, with singles play during the afternoon.
FRESNO, Calif. – Six Fresno State women's tennis will compete at the ITA Northwest Regionals from Oct. 19 through Oct. 22. Stanford will host the tournament for the 11th straight season at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Junior Emma Wilson and sophomore Katerina Stloukalova each earned No. 9 seeds in their brackets of the 128-player singles main draw. Also competing for the Bulldogs are sophomores Georgia Lawson, Juliane Triebe and Abbey Watanabe, and freshman Alessia Dario. Matches get underway tomorrow afternoon.

All six 'Dogs from singles will also compete in the doubles. Georgia Lawson and Emma Wilson drew a No. 5 seed in the field which gave them a first-round bye. First round doubles match begin tomorrow morning.
