• UNLV has lost six straight matches to fall into last place in the MW. The Rebels have won just three sets in their last six matches and will host Air Force on Saturday before coming to Fresno.
• In the first meeting between the 'Dogs and Rebels this year, in Las Vegas on Oct. 12, Taylor Slover and Madelyn Halteman both had double-doubles as the 'Dogs pulled out a 3-2 win in five sets. Fresno State outblocked UNLV 16.0-12.0 in the match with a 76-67 edge in digs.
• For the season UNLV ranks last in the MW in kills, assists, hitting percentage, and opposing hitting percentage but is fourth with 2.34 blocks per set. Mariena Hayden is second in the league with 37 service aces (but has 57 errors) and Ashley Owens ranks third with 138 blocks.
• UNLV had won six of seven meetings with the Bulldogs before the Fresno State win Oct. 12.
Senior Moments
• Fresno State's two seniors - libero Jacqueline Hutcheson and middle blocker Lauren Torres - will play their final collegiate matches this weekend and will be honored prior to the 'Dogs match against Wyoming on Saturday.
• Hutcheson and Torres have both been four-year Hornets and have both played in every set this season while starting every match.
• The pair have etched their names in the program record book as Torres is eighth in program history with 336 career blocks and Hutcheson is eighth with 125 career service aces and nearing the top-10 in career digs.
Nearing 1,000
• Hutcheson has 973 career digs with two matches remaining in her collegiate career. She needs just 27 digs over the last two matches to become the 10th player in program history to record 1,000 career digs.
• A starting libero for the first time as a senior, Hutcheson has averaged 3.71 digs per set and 14.0 digs per match in her final collegiate season. If she stays on that pace she would end her career with 1,001 career digs.
Block Party
• Fresno State leads the Mountain West and is 14th in NCAA Div. I with 291.5 blocks this season. The 'Dogs average of 2.75 blocks per set is also second best in the league and 17th in the nation.
• The team's 291.5 total blocks are third most in a season in the rally scoring era (2001-pres.). The 'Dogs are just 24.5 blocks behind the single season program record of 316.0 blocks, set in 2003.
• The Bulldogs have had the same or more blocks than their opponent in 12 Mountain West matches, averaging 2.88 blocks per set in league play.

• The squad has had a winning home record in each of the last two years and in five of the last six seasons.

• Junior Haile Watson is second in the Mountain West averaging 1.36 blocks per set in conference matches. Overall this season she ranks 28th in NCAA Div. I with 137 total blocks and is 40th with 1.29 blocks per set. She has recorded at least five blocks in 16 matches this year and her blocks per set average would be the fifth best in a season in program history.
• Watson became the first player in program history to tally 10 blocks in a three-set match, topping the previous record of nine achieved twice, on Sept. 5 vs. CSU Bakersfield. She set a new career-high with 12 blocks at Air Force, tying for the second most blocks in a five-set match in program history.
Strong Support
• Fresno State ranks fourth in the Mountain West averaging 798 fans over eight official home dates.

• Hefner had her best match at San Francisco, recording a career-high 25 kills while hitting .404. She had 13 kills and no errors on her first 26 swings of the match as she more than doubled her previous career high of 12 kills and tied for the most kills by a Bulldog this season.
21 Jump Night
• On Sept. 5 Fresno State recorded 21.0 blocks, a program record for a three-set match and still the highest three-set total recorded by an NCAA Div. I team this season.
• The Bulldogs broke the previous three-set program record of 15.0 blocks set against Hawaii in 2007. The squad came within one block of the overall program record of 22.0 blocks set in a four-set match
• The total was the highest for any Div. I match this season before Western Kentucky tallied 23.0 blocks in a five-set match. The 'Dogs had five blocks in the first set, nine in the second set, and seven in the third set.
Taylor Terrific
• For the season junior Taylor Slover leads the team averaging 3.70 points per set. She has led the team in kills in 17 matches, tallying double-digit kills 17 times.
