Williams selected to compete at AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge Preview

Fresno State senior Western rider Rachel Williams was one of 16 collegiate equestrian riders who have been chosen to participate in the 2017 American Quarter Horse Association Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge on Nov. 11-12 during the Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City, OK.
The preliminaries will take place on Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m. PT, with the finals slated for Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. PT.
Williams is joined by Payton Anderson (Georgia), Kirsten Chamberland (Oklahoma State), Abbi Demel (Baylor), Kara Kaufmann (Auburn), Ashley Mauney (SMU), Josie Mootz (TCU) and Maddie Thiel (South Carolina) as the student-athlete riders representing NCEA institutions that were selected based on their win-loss percentages by the NCEA selection committee.
