Brooke Nelson named UEC November Rider of the Month

Fresno State Equestrian junior hunt seat rider Brooke Nelson has earned United Equestrian Conference (UEC) November Rider of the Month honors.
FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State Equestrian junior hunt seat rider Brooke Nelson has earned United Equestrian Conference (UEC) November Rider of the Month honors.
"This is great for Brooke to earn her first career honor by the UEC and a nice way to end the fall," said head coach Eric Hubbard.
This is Nelson's first career monthly honor from the UEC and the fourth UEC monthly award the 'Dogs have earned this season after three Bulldogs (Paige Barton, Taeya Harle & Sierra Swaffar) were honored as September Riders of the Months.
The Bulldogs kick off the spring season on Fri., Feb. 2 at No. 9 TCU (2-5) at 8 a.m. PT in Springtown, Texas.
Fresno State's UEC November Rider of the Month
Equitation On The Flat Rider of the Month: Brooke Nelson, Fresno State
·      Charted a 2-0 record in Equitation On The Flat during the month of November, earning one MVP honor.
·      Averaged a score of 83.5 for the month and defeated opponents by an average margin of 7.5 points.
·      Earned victories against conference opponents from UT-Martin and Delaware State, with an MVP honor against Delaware State.
