Fresno state takes win streak to the coast
Fresno State will enter Saturday's game at Cal Poly on a five-game winning streak. The 'Dogs are seeking their third six-game winning streak in Terry's tenure -- previously winning nine straight games from Feb. 17-March 12, 2016 and six consecutive games from Feb. 15-March 9, 2017. A win on Saturday would also give Fresno State its longest nonconference win streak in Terry's tenure and longest since opening the 2006-07 season by winning the first seven games of the season. It would also be the 23rd time in program history that Fresno State has been on at least a six-game winning streak. The longest winning streak in school history is 13 (Jan. 24-March 7, 1981), when the Bulldogs were coached by Boyd Grant en route to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
