Chalack goes undefeated, but Bulldogs fall to Georgia, 11-8

The Fresno State equestrian team dropped its Senior Day competition and heads to Oklahoma State next weekend
FRESNO, Calif. – The No. 6 Fresno State equestrian team competed in its final home meet of the season on Friday, falling to No. 5-ranked Georgia, 11-8, at the Student Horse Center in Fresno, Calif.

The Bulldogs (7-5) began the competition down just 3-2 after equitation over fences, earning points from Kylina Chalack and Paige Pastorino. Fresno State then tied the meet up at 5-5 after getting three points in reining from Taylor Brown, Shea Gilson and Paige Barton.

In the afternoon, Fresno State scored points thanks to Chalack's equitation on the flat ride and horsemanship rides from Taylor Dixon and Rachel Williams.

Earlier in the week, Williams was named the February United Equestrian Conference Horsemanship Rider of the month after going 4-0 and averaging a score of 72.5.

Next week, the Bulldogs head to Oklahoma State for their final regular season completion.
