Game three at Utah State canceled due to poor field conditions

The Fresno State softball team heads to Northern California to face Santa Clara and Cal later on this week
LOGAN, Utah – The third game in the Mountain West softball series between Fresno State and Utah State has been canceled as the playing surface has been deemed unplayable.

The Bulldogs (24-15, 5-6 MW) dropped their doubleheader against the first-place Aggies (25-9, 8-3 MW) on Friday and now sit three games back with 12 conference games to go. This marks the first time the 'Dogs have been swept in a conference series since April 27-28, 2012 (Hawai'i), when they were members of the Western Athletic Conference.

Fresno State now takes a break from MW play to visit Santa Clara on Thursday and Cal on Friday and Saturday. The Bulldogs then head to UC Santa Barbara on April 19 and return home for their next MW series when they host San Jose State April 21-23 at Margie Wright Diamond.
