LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Senior Kelli Funk represented the Bulldogs at the Trojan Diving Invitational over the weekend at USC and posted a pair of fourth place finishes and a seventh place finish amongst a field of some of the top divers on the west coast.

Funk was the lone Bulldog to participate in the event, which had divers from eight schools including Pac-12 foes USC, UCLA, and Utah. The meet had 20 divers competing on 1-meter, 23 on 3-meter, and 12 divers on platform.

Friday (1-Meter)
- Funk placed seventh in both the prelims and finals in the field of 20.
- She posted a 211.95 score in the prelims and improved to a 216.65 in the final, finishing seventh with a 428.60 total.
- Funk was fourth among 23 divers in the prelims and finished fourth in the field of 18 that qualified for the final.
- Her score of 256.85 in the prelims was better than both UCLA divers, one USC diver, and all four Utah divers, trailing only three divers from USC.
- In the final, Funk again scored ahead of seven Pac-12 divers with a 248.50 to finish fourth scoring 505.35 total.
- Competing on platform for the first time this season, Funk was fourth in both the prelims and finals.
- She again trailed only three USC divers in the prelims and was ahead of eight other Pac-12 divers with a 223.10 score.
- Funk scored 205.15 in the final for a total of 428.25, finishing ahead of six Pac-12 divers and two from Cal Poly among the 12 that qualified for the final.
- Funk will rejoin her swimming teammates as the 'Dogs will face Pacific in a dual at 1 p.m. Saturday in Stockton.
