FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State football team held its annual end-of-season banquet at the Fresno Convention Center on Sunday afternoon, which traditionally follows the team's Senior Day game to align with numerous friends and family that are in town.
Â
Fortunately for the 'Dogs, there is much more season to go, with the Mountain West Championship game on the horizon this coming Saturday and a bowl game to cap the year. Yesterday evening, Fresno State won its 10th game of the season in its regular season finale to secure back-to-back double-digit win seasons for the second time in program history (1988-89). They learned soon-after that by virtue of Boise State defeating Utah State in their respective game last night, they would be paired with the Broncos for the MW title bout for a second season in a row.Â
Â
The Bulldogs will travel to Boise for a 4:45 p.m. PT kickoff, which will be broadcast on ESPN, on Dec. 1. The team is expected to learn its bowl destination to following day.
Â
Awards distributed on Sunday were as follows:
