Bulldog Bones
- Following a tough, one-point loss to USC, Fresno State looks to avenge its defeat in the second game of a three-game road trip Wednesday afternoon at Eastern Washington. The Bulldogs won their last three games prior to facing USC by an average of 14.7 points.
- The 'Dogs have used large runs to propel them to wins earlier in the season, hitting runs of 20-0 and 19-0 in the first two games of the previous home stand. The 'Dogs also went on a 13-4 run to end the first quarter against the Trojans.
- Coming off of the bench, Bree Delaney owns the league's best assist-to-turnover ratio with 15 assists to five turnovers.Â
- At 56.5 percent while averaging 13.8 points per game and leading the team in rebounding, Maddi Utti has the second highest field goal percentage in the conference.
- Fresno State ranks No. 16 in the NCAA in steals per game, averaging 13 per game through five games.Â
- With only 57 turnovers, the 'Dogs sit at No. 17 in the country in the turnover margin at +8.5.
Scouting Eastern Washington
- Eastern Washington is 1-4 on the season, falling mostly to big-name programs such as Gonzaga, BYU and Utah.
- The Eagles sole win was over Eastern Oregon, thumping the Mountaineers 66-45.
- Eastern Washington and Fresno State have faced a common opponent in Cal Poly. The Mustangs defeated the Eagles 59-55 in their last contest, while Fresno State defeated Cal Poly 76-58 in its home opener.
- The Eagles are hitting 7.4 3's per game, good enough for third in the Big Sky Conference and giving them a +1.4 percentage margin over opponents.
- Eastern Washington is third in the conference in blocked shots as a team with 20 on the season and in steals per game, averaging 8.2 a contest.
- Junior forward Alissa Sealby leads the conference in blocked shots individually with eight on the season.
